MyRealEstateDirectory ("we", "us") is a Sagentica product. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use myrealestatedirectory.com (the "Site") and our directory services (the "Services").

- Listing info (business name, address, phone, web, license #) when you submit a listing.
- Account contact info, payment info (processed by Stripe — we never see the card number).
- Reviews, photos, and content you upload.
1.2 Collected automatically
- Device type, browser, hashed/truncated IP, country, referrer URL, page URL, anonymized session id.
- Cookies and similar tech — see Cookies (if present).
2. How we use it
- Provide and improve the Services.
- Match users to listings; verify license claims.
- Fraud and abuse detection.
- Process payments and payouts.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies we rely on: contract performance, legitimate interests (fraud + measurement), consent (non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with:
- Service providers (Stripe, Clerk, hosting) under data-processing agreements.
- Authorities when required by law.
- Buyers of a business if we transfer the Service (we'd notify you).
5. Retention
- Account / listing data: while active + 7 years for tax / legal.
- Click and impression logs: 24 months, then aggregated.
- Payment records: 7 years.
6. Your rights

7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16.
8. Security
TLS in transit, encryption at rest, hashed identifiers, role-based access. We notify affected users of any breach as required by law.
